It is now the year 2014.
I don't really like having a date define when I start a goal I have but I like the idea of starting things of the first day of the year so I guess I am starting some New Years resolutions but I think of them more as goals. One of my goals is to bring more (and constant) content and be more active in my various outlets. I love conversing with others (not just about photography) so if you are out there and have any questions comments or just have anything to say please feel free to reach out to me! I always enjoy meeting new people and just having great conversations plus up you would be helping me reach my goals and that would be awesome!
Anyway, onto more photography related topics I want to show you a fun DIY background.
This is a DIY background Emiliz made for our New Year's Eve party. The background is very simple to make and the materials are cheap but it is a very time consuming task depending on the size of the background you want. Circles were individually cut out and put up on a wall to make the scale pattern. She covered an area of about 4.5x7 feet. The height of the background was good but we could have used a wider area for group photos but it was the best area in the room to use and I still think it turned out quite nicely!
We had a lot of fun taking photos throughout the night and it is always nice to have these photos to look back on.
I am excited for the new year and what it will bring and I am excited to be able to share my stories with you all.
I hope you all had a great and safe New Years and of course feel free to reach out if you have any questions, comments or just want to say hello!
Cheers and Happy New Year!
